Optimally, we inspire our students to pursue a career in which they will be posing relevant questions, and using research and inquiry to answer those questions to contribute to humanity’s general body of knowledge or, through technology and engineering, solve problems. Literacy skills are the foundation upon which these outcomes are built.

My online learning activities typically involve the use of short videos, online discussions, student research, podcasts, and various formative assessments. She is a veteran social studies teacher who has taught Sociology, US History, World History, Anthropology, and Psychology. They typically last between 3 and 4 days.

Students were to develop a trip that someone could take today to explore colonial history through one of the three colonial regions. Students created detailed trip itineraries, after conducting research, and used Google Docs to put together their itineraries. It also enables students to take online polls.

Check this one out for AP World History Unit 6: Take a moment if you need to, but please, come back to me. So I’ve been using it in class on workdays with my students (I especially give my AP Modern World History students those [workdays to annotate , read, and remediate]). Right now, mine doesn’t.
