Matthias Elijah Lopez graduated from University of the Pacific with departmental honors in politicalscience and philosophy. Through a politicalscience Ph.D. incorporated virtual reality (VR) simulations to understand if VR influences political attitudes and political ideology.
Additionally, she is a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha PoliticalScience Honor Society. Natalia greatly enjoys conducting research and hopes to make valuable contributions to the politicalscience discipline following graduation.
The John Gaus Award is presented annually by the American PoliticalScience Association (APSA) to honor a lifetime of exemplary scholarship in the joint tradition of politicalscience and public administration. Professor Keiser’s research contributions have been recognized in numerous ways.
