Native American Leadership, Identity, and Resistance at Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center in Mashantucket, CT. The seminar also includes a visit to a local historical site.

We are trying to approach the class through a very broad social justice lens, which means that we’re discussing a variety of different school leadership equity contexts. I’ve got six students in the class.

With this program I was able to comfort frightened incoming freshmen during orientation, raise money to assist victims of the genocide in Darfur, and attend inspirational seminars about leadership and ethical issues.
