TEACHER VOICE: Students deserve classroom experiences that reflect their history

Students gather once a month at my high school for what we call “equity lunch chats” with teachers and administrators. Gathering a team of students and educators to advise on an inclusive curriculum would give students a voice in the process and create a starting place for teachers like me as we build our own classroom lesson plans.
