Psychology as a school subject - what are the benefits?

This week the annual Scottish Learning Festival took place in Glasgow, and together with five fellow educators I gave a presentation on the value of psychology to younger learners. 1) The study of Psychology is a basic part of understanding reality. 2) Psychology is interesting and motivating. We can do better for our learners.

Saint Leo University plans the nation’s first veteran studies bachelor’s degree program

Until now, the work has been done by students of sociology and psychology and anthropology. For almost as long as there have been wars, there have been people who study veterans. But a specific degree program to study veterans is being launched this fall at Saint Leo University in central Florida.
