During my years as a teacher and principal, I would spend countless hours planning, researching, and attending professional learning events to hone my craft in order to become a better educator. Social media has completely disrupted that and, in the process, removed barriers such as time, geography, and money.
I'm preparing for a few events later in the year which are connected with careers in geography and where we can build in introductions to career options for those who study geography during our teaching (from KS3 upwards).
