Some of the most celebrated education reform efforts today serve to make instruction more difficult. Personalized learning, project-basedlearning, mastery-basedlearning – they all require more work of teachers and more work of students.
It comes from a wide range of educationtechnology products, assessments and other sources — there’s data from reading programs, math programs, state tests, daily quizzes, student history and more, each one a single puzzle piece that could be linked to other pieces to create a unified picture, but that, more often than not, stands alone.
We’ve also invested in bringing coding to life through project-basedlearning using Wonder Workshop’s educational robots, Dash and Dot. Our director of technology also runs a summer coding camp in which students can learn about GameSalad , GameMaker and GameStar Mechanic.
