The project was simple for me because it came with the guidance like a rubric, a model and examples to help with lessonplanning. They evaluated the museum’seducation program and worked together to design a new curriculum.
When I ask teachers why they’re using AR or VR, they often tell me they saw an exciting new tool at a conference and found a way to make it work with their lessonplan or that a colleague tried out a tool and mentioned that their students loved it. Questions arise like whether to modify existing lessonplans or create new ones.

Hau shared that K-12 educators are using the technology to improve efficiency in a number of ways, including to draft individualized education programs (IEPs), create templates for communicating with parents and administrators, and in some cases, to support building lessonplans.
Learning can happen anywhere — in a classroom, in a park, on a field trip or at a museum. We taught lessons, organized student materials and met with families in this space. The other two special education teachers at my school also shared a classroom. But, the reality is that space matters.
