Allowing them to use social media tools to achieve learning goals and objectives, of which they already are familiar with outside of school, makes sense in the globally connected, digital world we are all a part of. All of this makes sense to me as an educator, parent, and citizen. What about you?

It is an exciting time to be in education. Technology has really added a whole new dimension to learning. In a society that is now globally connected through easy to use and cost effective web 2.0 tools, opportunities to engage and make the process of learning meaningful to all students has quickly become a reality.
