In museum archives, researchers found photos of remains from Paleolithic children who had belonged to a group of early Homo sapiens in Eurasia. Cultural changes at Ksâr ‘Akil and other Upper Paleolithic sites show that these humans also used innovative forms of visual expression. Not all fossil discoveries happen in the field.
