If you are ever in the area, this National Historic Site is well worth seeing. This was the first stop on my 2023 Civil War History Tour. The room in the McLean house where Lee surrendered to Grant. Be sure to check out one of the short tours by the park rangers. I think ours was 1 hour, but it was well worth it.
